September 10, 2020
London Tech Week has gone virtual but you can network and make a cocktail in the comfort of your own home.
We kick off the evening with a fireside chat with one of the world’s leading experts on the success of London’s tech ecosystem, founder of Tech London Advocates (TLA) Russ Shaw. Follow this with a cocktail-making experience led by the head bartender at the fabulous Grade-II listed Kindred and then a few quick rounds of networking with like-minded techies.
Make sure you get hold of the cocktail ingredients before the night! Recipe menu here.
What’s more, the evening will raise funds for the great work done by United in Hammersmith & Fulham. Find out more about them here.
Event joining instructions will be sent to registrants by email.
Russ Shaw (Tech London Advocates)
About Russ Shaw: Russ Shaw is the founder of Tech London Advocates and Global Tech Advocates. He founded Tech London Advocates in 2013 to ensure an independent voice of the technology sector was heard, but with a focus on the private sector. Since then, he has been championing London as a global tech hub and campaigning to address some of the biggest challenges facing tech companies in the UK – diversity, digital skills, immigration, infrastructure and access to funding.
Russ was previously the Chairman of The Marketing Group of Great Britain following senior positions at Skype, Telefónica, O2 and CEO of a later stage startup called Mobileway. In his role as Marketing Director for O2, Russ brokered the relationship with The O2, the most successful indoor venue in the world.
In 2019, he was named in the London Evening Standard’s Progress 1,000, a list of the most influential people in the capital.
We look forward to seeing you online!
