The NIHR Imperial Clinical Research Facility

The NIHR CRF hosts experimental medicine and early-phase clinical research across all medical disciplines. Researchers using the CRF have access to all that Imperial College and Trust can provide including Principal Investigators, Imaging, Pathology and BioBanking.

2. SIR MICHAEL UREN HUB

Henry Royce Institute at Imperial College London

Facilities include: a thin film deposition suite, patterning and milling, testing and characterisation and SPIN-lab

Biomedical Engineering (BME) Hub  

Advanced Biomedical Engineering Core facilities are hosted here, as part of the Department of Bioengineering at Imperial College. They include cell culture and histology lab,  fluorescent microscopy (Leica hub),  a bio-nanofabrication clean room, complex gate analysis platforms and high precision characterisation equipment. They are fully accessible to external partners through a flexible, by the hour and tiered booking system and relevant training.

MedTechONE, Imperial College

Sir Michael Uren Hub hosts the MedTechAccelerator, a MedTechONE programme supporting the Imperial College MedTech innovators community across all faculties. MedTechONE offers Quality/Regulatory, product development and funding plans expertise to help de-risk Imperial College MedTech projects.

Facilities include electrical and mechanical engineering workshops, digital modelling and fabrication spaces, and physical computing workspaces.

4. I-HUB

Endress + Hauser

Facilities include: Raman-based PAT and at the bioreactor & Kaiser Raman bioprocess analyzers (Raman Rxn2™ and Raman Rxn4™)

LONDON BIOFOUNDRY

Facilities include acoustic liquid handling, a fully automated assembly platform, a fully automated culture platform & Agilent LC-MS.

Novartis

The Novartis Institutes for BioMedical Research (NIBR) collaborates across scientific and organisational boundaries. Areas of interest are aspects of unmet medical needs and platform technologies to help discover therapies, digital therapeutics/ technologies/ biomarkers.

Agilent Measurement Suite

Centre for Rapid Online Analysis of Reactions

Centre for PULSE EPR
