Case study 5: Helping a growing tech business grow faster
iPLATO, a Hammersmith-based health-tech scaleup, has been featured on Upstream’s podcast series, which seeks to shine a light on innovative organisations in the borough. Their MyGP app, which allows two million people in the UK to make GP appointments and access their health records, is adding a new feature that will display COVID-19 vaccine status. This will allow them to prove that they’ve been vaccinated, and so gain access to live events and other activities as the economy starts to open up. Within three hours of approaching Upstream, we were introducing iPLATO to H&F theatres, live venues, football clubs and H&F council’s COVID-19 team.
iPLATO is a London Tech Week ‘social supporter’. As a scaling business, it shares information about Upstream events with its 75+ employees, giving them opportunities to engage with their local community outside work.
