Team Upstream is lucky to work in a role where we engage and support innovative and exciting businesses across the science, tech and creative industries in Hammersmith & Fulham.

Even before COVID-19 struck, our top objective for 2020 was to have stronger engagement with businesses.  Now, surreal as it feels, it’s more important than ever to do this as businesses face challenges like never before.  You can now book an e-coffee with us: we promise to listen and do our best to add value and/or subtract worry.  As ever, our help and support is free. 

Here are some ways we have helped businesses since COVID-19 struck:

Signposting business support, providing specific introductions to London and H&F business support contacts.

Gaining quick clarity of the support and rebates available to businesses – in one instance, saving a business 6 months’ worth of a major outgoing.

Connecting entrepreneurs to possible business opportunities.

Introducing a business to a connection who is offering her time to help people get to grips with remote working and management of teams (see our recent blog on remote working too).

Profiling products and online events created by local start-ups.
